~ About: A 1961-65 Park College Diary ~ As a high school girl and then a college coed in the first half of the 1960s, I wrote nightly entries on the pages of one-year diaries. In January 2010 I began transcribing the entries into a blog and gave each one a title. I grew up on three farms within 30 miles of Iowa City and the University of Iowa with its Iowa Writers' Workshop. As the oldest of four daughters, in my diaries I sometimes referred to my sisters as "the kids" or "the girls." We helped our parents, but we also had good, wholesome fun - a characteristic I took with me to Park. Park is 300 miles southwest of West Chester, Iowa, in Parkville, Missouri, on the Missouri River 10 miles northwest of Kansas City, Missouri, and across the river from Kansas City, Kansas. In 2000 Park College became Park University. Today Park's flagship campus is in Parkville and there are an additional 41 campus centers across the nation. Park was one of the first educational institutions in the United States to offer online learning. My last post was on May 22, 2018. I may be followed on Twitter @BarbaraMcDWhitt.

We Went to the Circus in Washington - Wednesday, July 4, 1962

We celebrated the Fourth of July by going to the circus in town this afternoon. It was a pretty good circus, even if I went with what I thought was a grown-up if not pessimistic view of what I thought it would probably be like. I don't see how all those trained animals know just what to do next. Tonight we lit our sparklers. It was a foggy and rainy day.

Interesting this post included the circus in Washington. Drew was telling us at his birthday party last weekend that he has hated clowns ever since he went to a circus in Washington as a little kid and the clowns scared him!

That's too bad. After I wrote about wondering how all those trained animals knew just what to do next, I read the next day in Mary Jaksch's blog post that learning about SEO is "so easy a trained giraffe could do it! :-) [her smile face]"

The term "digital marketing" refers to all of your online marketing efforts. Businesses connect with their current and potential customers through digital channels such as Google search, social media, email, and their websites. https://redleos.com/

From your website to your online branding assets — digital marketing, email marketing, online brochures, and more — digital marketing encompasses a wide range of strategies and assets. And the best digital marketers understand how each tool or strategy contributes to their overall goals. https://seoactivators.com/ca/seo-services-calgary/
